Triple Trophy Winner at the 2008 Hobart International Wine Show. *VERY LIMITED STOCK*

Moores Hill Estate was awarded three trophies for its 2008 Riesling at the 2008 Wrest Point Royal Hobart International Wine Show:
While Moores Hill has been noted for producing fine Riesling, this was a huge win for a tiny vineyard.

  • Best Riesling
  • Best Tasmanian White Wine
  • Best Tasmanian Wine

Tasting Notes:

The growing conditions for 2008 vintage were excellent, and the maturing vines produced their best fruit ever. This elegant Riesling may be enjoyed now for its fresh, floral aroma and sweet citrus flavours. Cellaring for several years will further improve the wine. A wonderful aperitif or a fine accompaniment to seafood flavours such as lightly sautéed scallops, smoked fish or fried whitebait.

With the passing of time, this wine has got better, the fruit concentration is excellent and still lively acidity ensures long cellaring potential.
