Our 2008 wines are sporting our new label and you
will have noticed our website has been updated.
We engaged the talents of designer, Barbara
Harkness of Just Add Wine in Adelaide to design the label.
It features an original painting by Adelaide
artist, Dan Tomkins that was specially commissioned for our label. The scene is
a whimsical Tasmanian wilderness, rich in wildlife, lush foliage and artistic licence!
We wanted an image that strongly reflected the wilderness of Tasmania and the
natural beauty of the Tamar Valley. It had to be sophisticated but fun and have
a hint of whimsy. The painting is now on display in our cellar door.
Our elegant logo incorporates the letters M and
H. A compass with a visible ‘S’
emphasises our southerly position on the globe and the curls reflect the
tendrils of a grapevine.
Changing a brand is always risky but we felt
confident that a fresh look was important to support Moores Hill’s ever
increasing quality as a producer of premium cool climate wines.
What do you think of our new look? Love it,
hate, we’d love to hear your feedback.
